The requisite information are given to the public by Publicity Section, Trade Information Service, Development Section, Marketing Section and are also available on Board’s website;- www.indianspices.com. Board also regularly publishes Spice India magazine in English, Hindi, Nepali, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, Spices Market weekly, Foreign Trade Enquiry Bulletin fortnightly, Spices Export Review. It also brings out publications like Spices Statistics, Directories of Importers and Exporters, CD-ROMS, Booklets on individual Spice-specific farming practices, etc. The Board’s participation in the Domestic and International Fairs, Exhibitions, Seminars and conferences and broadcasting of programmes on Radio and TV enable the public to have access to spices-related information. The Spices Board is having close interactions with Indian Trade Missions, International Pepper Community, International Trade Center, Food & Agricultural Organisation, World Trade Organisation, Commonwealth Secretariat, American Spices Trade Association, European Spice Association, All Nippon Spices Association, etc. The Board’s Libraries in the Head office at Cochin and Research Institute, Myladumpara have a good collection of books and periodicals with computerized bibliographic data base. The services of Libraries and Reading Rooms are available to the public including students and researchers from various organizations.
