| Spices Board Registration for RCMC Made Mandatory by DGFT |
|
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, in exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, has made amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) under sub-paragraph 6.34(14) and 7.32.2, and has issued Public Notice No.21 (RE-2005)/2004-2009 dated the 13th June 2005, by which it has been made mandatory for all EOU/EHTP/STP/BTP units and those units in SEZ who are engaged in import/export of spices to obtain the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) from the Spices Board.
