Ingredients
Rice - 2 cups
Cardamom - 4 nos.
Carrot - 1 no.
Cloves - 5 nos.
Beans - 15
Cinnamon - 3-4 stick small
Green peas - 3 T.sp
Cauliflower - 15 small pieces
Cashew nuts - 25 nos.
Onion - 1
Rai - 2 T.sp
Capsicum - 1 small
Pista - 2 T.sp
Oil & Salt - to taste
Method of Preparation
Cut carrot, beans, and onion thin and lengthwise, Cut cauliflower to small pieces and capsicum to small square pieces. Wash and soak rice for 30 to 40 minutes. In a dish take three to four table spoon oil and add cardamom, cinnamon, clove, cauliflower, peas, carrot, beans and mix, Microwave at 100 percent power for six minutes. Drain the water from the rice. Now add rice with salt to taste and mix. Add four cups of water. Cover and microwave at 100 percent power for twenty minutes. Standing time five minutes. Garnish with fried onion, cashew nut and raisins. Add capsicum and ¼ table spoon oil in a dish and mix. Microwave at 100 percent power for three minutes. Use this for garnishing the pulao. Serve hot. |
