The applications
are to be submitted to the Field Officers
of the Spices Board. As far as possible
farmers selected from Villages where Board’s
other schemes like large cardamom expansion,
organic pepper cultivation, Lakadong Turmeric
Ginger cultivation scheme etc. are being
implemented so that the vermi compost produced
locally could be an input to the organic
cultivaion of various spices. Field Officer
will issue permit order to eligible applicants.
Training will be organised by the Board
at different locations for educating the
farmers on the method of vermi compost making.
Universities/NGOs would be encouraged to
set up seed worm production centres. |
The Field
Officers are to satisfy the construction
and composting, and will recommend such
cases to Asst. Directors, who inturn will
sanction the eligible subsidy. The AD will
also conduct by person test checking. |
