The Board has introduced a scheme viz: "Spices Board Scheme for Laboratory Accreditation" for accreditation of laboratories. Under the above scheme, Board's laboratory will certify laboratories in private sector/laboratories attached to spice industries, as per the terms and conditions for accreditation. The certificate once issued is valid for a period of three years and subject to periodic assessment by the technical personnel from the laboratory.
